To Puerto Rican multidisciplinary creative Jean-Pierre Villafañ, the world is an audaciously perforative stage and we, whether we be lawyers, bankers or dancers, are her characters, unchoreographed in our gestures and countenances, the same ones which would come to life on his canvas through his own spontaneous movements with a paintbrush. After spending his childhood on the Caribbean island, Villafañ immigrated to New York to pursue an architectural profession.
